Coaches
Laura brings energy and experience, and a love of fun to the pool. She has been an active member of the Dunsinane Swim Team since 2008 and has coached at Dunsinane for the past six years, now entering her second year as Head Coach. Laura also swam and coached with the Sharks, spending 13 years as a swimmer and four years as a coach. In addition, she served as the president of the Miami University Club Swim team. Laura is super excited for the upcoming season and looks forward to creating a positive, fun, and motivating environment for every swimmer.
Chloe has been an active member of the Dunsinane Swim Team since 2021 and has coached for the past three years. She has swam with the Sharks since 2019 and coached with them for two before going off to college. Chloe goes to Ohio Northern University and is on the college swim team. She is happy to continue doing the sport she loves year round! She is excited for the summer and to bring excitement to the sport for new and returning swimmers alike. This summer, Chloe would like to make a positive environment for young swimmers that encourages sportsmanship and self-improvement.
Gabi brings a fun and exciting energy to Dunsinane. She loves to get to know the swimmers and has fun coaching! She has been swimming for the team since 2020 and has been coaching for 5 years. Gabi has been swimming since she was 8 years old, she joined the Sharks Swim Team when she was 11. While on the Sharks she achieved national and international qualifications for Para competitions. She is also an advocate for better diversity in sports. Currently, she attends Bowling Green State University.
Gabi is so excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to see what your swimmers do. Making the season a fun experience for everyone!!
Phoebe’s favorite part of the summer is the excitement and energy at Dunsinane! She has been an active member of the Dunsinane Swim Team since 2019 and has coached the 6 and unders at Dunsinane for the past five years. Phoebe also swam with the Sharks and Coffman YMCA, spending 8 years as a swimmer. She is committed to Purdue University where she intends to continue swimming at a club level. Phoebe can’t wait for the upcoming season and looks forward to making it a fun and memorable season for every swimmer.
Evan is energetic and fun on the pool deck. He has been a member of the Dunsinane swim team since 2021 and it is his fourth year as a coach. Evan is in his sophomore year of high school and is excited for the summer swim season and the opportunity to coach for Dunsinane another summer. You will also see him working as a lifeguard at the Pool. Feel free to come up and say hi.
Paige is so excited to return as a 6 and Under coach this year! She has been a swimmer for the Dunsinane Swim Team since 2019 and is returning for her third year of coaching. Paige is a competitive swimmer and has recently switched to competing for the WTRC Sharks. She is happy to be at the pool and can additionally be spotted as a lifeguard when not swimming. Paige looks forward to helping coach the younger swimmers and encouraging them to continue swimming and improve their love for the water!
Wesley brings experience and fun, and passion to the pool. He has been a member of Dunsinane for 3 fun years. This will be his second year as a junior coach. Wes has been swimming for the WTRC Sharks for 5 years. He is looking forward to another great season helping kids in and out of the water!
Adalyn has been a member of Dunsinane as well as the swim team since 2016. She also joined the Sharks in 2022 and has been with them since. Adalyn is so excited to join the coaching staff this year and assist with the 6 and under group. She’s looking forward to an amazing season and can’t wait to help swimmers build their skills and develop a love for the sport.
Elizabeth has been a part of club and summer swim for 5 years. She started helping out as a volunteer coach last summer. She really likes working with the 6 & unders, getting to know the kids, and helping them have fun while getting better at swimming. Outside of swimming, she runs cross country and track, and she’s excited to be going to Centerville High School next year.
